Boys are supposed to surf, girls are supposed to dream – at least according to current children’s fashion. Together with a team of (data) journalists, Marie-Louise Timcke and Berit Kruse analysed 20 000 shirts and shorts from different clothings brands. In this talk, they will explain how they used fashion data to examine gender issues.
